REMEMBER THE TITANS
The film “Remember the Titans” shows us the discrimination between black and white in the southern USA in the early 70´s. All the white people took distance from the black people, and they simply though the black ones were freaks. The white people saw them as worthless, and nothing. And there were strict rules for the blacks. They could not entrance the usual stores, restaurants, schools etc. They had to have their own places to go to, but later, it occurred a revolution in the southern USA. The black finally got equal opportunities as the white ones, and they were allowed to go to the same school. Most of the white ones got quite furious about this. It was hard for them to adjust to being around black people. But many of them got friends later in the movie.
The movie is based on a true story, and it feels really realistic.
